Most recently, as executive vice president and general manager of Allconnect's Interactive Group, Jody developed new revenue streams for the company by establishing and extending partnerships with blue chip advertisers such as Lowe's Home Improvement. She also oversaw Allconnect's first e-commerce sales.
Previously, Jody held a variety of senior leadership roles at The Weather Channel and The Weather Channel Interactive, where she oversaw the launch of a diverse array of software solutions, including mobile, desktop and video applications. Jody also served in sales and business development positions at variety of cable networks, including The Weather Channel, Financial News Network and Request TV.
An active member in the Atlanta technology and wireless communities, Jody has served on the boards of the Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing's (CTAM) Broadband Consortium, the Wireless Data Forum, and the CTAM Mid-Atlantic chapter. As an entrepreneur, Fennell has presented at the ATDC/TAG CapVenture Program and Startup RIot, and represented the company as the winner of the Startup Chicks First Annual Pitch Competition. She is currently president of the Lassiter/Pope/Kell Navy Junior ROTC Cadet Parent Organization.
Jody holds two internet-related patents, and was chosen as a Fellow in the prestigious Betsy Magness Leadership Development program sponsored by Women in Cable and Technology. Additionally, as an expert in the web and mobile space, Jody has presented at Forrester Research's Consumer Conference, the CTIA's Mobile Content Conference, Women in Technology International's National Conference, and the Atlanta chapter of Women in Cable and Technology Content Innovation panel.
Jody holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University. She is an accomplished marathon runner, having completed numerous marthon, half-marathon and triathalon events, including the New York City Marathon. She resides in Cobb County with her husband and their two children.
