Marketing Intern

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Manage and oversee social media posts (Facebook, Twitter) for Fashion-ade.com; actively pursue blog responses/postings to drive traffic to fashion-ade.com

Duties:
  • Daily updates to Twitter and Facebook based on editorial calendar
  • Build and maintain (with regular updates) a list of relevant blogs/interactive media outlets covering stories relevant o fashion-ade.com (fashion, budget, startups, moms, etc.)
  • Actively seek opportunities to post links/updates, as a mechanism to promote brand and to drive traffic to site.
  • Develop alternative “guerilla” strategies to drive traffic.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with web processes a must, fashion experience a plus but not required.  
  • 1 year experience with interactive applications
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Attention to detail, ability to track complex issues, emphasizing excellence, tending to perfectionism
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
